Foster180 is a nonprofit based in Wilson County, Tennessee, dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families impacted by the foster-care system. Their mission centers on community-based, faith-informed care, offering support and resources to foster families, birth families, and children needing stability.
​Why We’re Partnering with Foster180
​Young adults aging out of foster care deserve more than a survival plan, they deserve a real shot at adulthood. But too many step into independence without the support, guidance, and stability needed to truly thrive. Our new book, Grown-Up Basics, was created to fill that gap. It’s a practical, heart-forward guide for teens and young adults learning how to navigate the real world, bills, boundaries, emotional regulation, communication, self-advocacy, and everything in between. To ensure this resource (and future others) reaches the youth who need it most, author Kourtney Bolton has partnered with Foster180 as a fiscal sponsor. This allows donations to be made directly and transparently, reduces platform fees, and reduces costs for readers. Books will be gifted or sold at cost to foster care organizations, group homes, schools, and support agencies. A portion of proceeds directly supports Foster180’s mission to surround youth and caregivers with the connection and tools they deserve.
